Oy Teollisuustelat Industrivalsar Ab on is founded in 1993 in Valkeala, South-Eastern Finland. Teollisuustelat Oy is nowadays owned by Betamet Service Oy since 29th Feb 2008. Timo Kärki is CEO of company. The business idea of our company is to produce high quality KA - spreader rolls for process industry. Spreder roll is invented in 1944 in the U.S.A. Spreader rolls or rubber coated rolls, wich are used in paper industry, textil industry, plastic industry, car industry and in producing of vaneer and laminates. Maintenance of spreader rolls is more difficult than other rolls so customer factories own expertiese is often quite narrow. 30 percent of sales of Oy Teollisuustelat Industrivalsar Ab:n comes from new spreader rolls, modernization covers 40 percent and maintenance service fills another 30%. The new KA- spreader rolls are designed and produced as custom made product to meet customer's needs. The rolls are being sold to process industry either for new machines or for machines in use as well. The new rolls are needed due worning, capasity change or increasing production speed usually. Modernizing process includes often coating change from rubbrer to metallic and changing worned parts. The shaft and bearing housing will be repaired. In modernization arching is adjusted to meet todays standards. Maintenance and service of rolls includes often changing parts, test drives and documentation.
